Extra Park crew quarters . . .I just love the colors. |
After lunch, we headed over to one of the coral heads with the dinghies from the other boats. The fish were fantastic. Pete wound up taking a snoot full of water so we headed back as the others headed over closer to the park headquarters to do more snorkeling. I will try to get some of Martha’s and Betty’s digital underwater pictures. I only have the underwater camera with the old fashion film!
Martha was able to capture these fighting Spiny Lobsters |
I have to wait for my pictures as they are film. Martha has given the OK to share these. |
Aren't they wonderful?! I really need to get me one of these. Oh, Santa . . . |
Just before we all went over to John and Betty for the delicious chicken parmesan dinner, they radioed us to check out the plane that was coming in for a landing . . . right between our three boats! It continued on, heading right onto shore. Once he dropped off his passenger (who was picked up by a dinghy to join friends on a boat,) he turned around and waved as he dinghied past us. He went out about ¼ mile turned around, faced us, accelerated towards us, then began to lift off as he was between us. Later, we thanked Betty and John for the pre-dinner entertainment. As usual, a wonderful time was had by all.
We had to say our "good-bys" around 7:30 when the rest were going to watch “To Catch a Thief.” We will be departing at 6 AM tomorrow, so we have some last minute prep and an early morning wake up call. Last night we “sprung the clocks forward an hour” so it will be dark at 6. Hummmmm.
