Return to Atlantis

We headed over to Atlantis today to meet Ann and Howie. We were fortunate to be able to request a dock with a ladder positioned midway in the dock, which makes getting on and off the boat easier for all. We were still out by the entrance to Atlantis, but that is a good spot. It is close to The Point Restaurant, where we had lunch. It is also close to the pool and bathrooms. . .another plus.  It is also great for the parade of boats that enter and exit the harbor and boy, did we get a show that morning.  Not one, but two 200 foot boats came in within 40 minutes, along with a couple of 100+ footers.
Around 2, we decided to head to The Rapids for an afternoon of cooling down. We tried to book snorkeling within the Atlantis Park, but it is booked solid so we will be snorkeling with an outside tour tomorrow.  It was fun to just float with friends for hours. After 3 rounds, we decided to head back for showers and food. March is spring break and everything is packed. Since we didn’t have reservations, we opted for Murray’s Deli where we had great and plentiful food. Then we walked around the Marina Village before walking back to the boat.
